The short version: we collect only what is needed to run the service and show profile owners their own stats. No ads. No third-party tracking. No cross-site profiling. No selling your data. Ever.
MySocials.Info is a hosted profile platform operated as a small independent service. We are opinionated about privacy, portability, and not treating users or visitors like products. Contact us at privacy@mysocials.info for privacy-related questions or requests.
Public profile pages are meant to be lightweight and respectful. We do not run ads on profile pages, we do not load third-party analytics, and we do not build behavioral dossiers about visitors.
ref or utm_* parameters, we may preserve that attribution so the profile owner can understand where traffic came from.Those records are used to operate the profile and report simple stats back to the profile owner. They are not sold, not shared with ad networks, and not turned into cross-site tracking profiles.
If you create an account or host a profile here, we collect the minimum needed to provide the service:
We occasionally send a personal update from the founder - new features, behind-the-scenes notes, that kind of thing. This is entirely opt-in and separate from service email. You can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time from your account settings or from the link at the bottom of any update email.
All mailing lists on MySocials.Info use confirmed double opt-in - we send a confirmation email first and only add you after you click it. We cannot be used to subscribe someone else without their knowledge.
We maintain separate lists so you can choose exactly what you want: launch notifications, platform announcements, marketing and offers, and open source project updates. You can opt in or out of each independently.
Removal permanently deletes your email record. When you remove yourself from any MySocials.Info mailing list, your email address is deleted from our records immediately and completely - not flagged as opted-out, not archived, not retained. There is no suppression list. If you later wish to sign up again, you start fresh.
MySocials.Info mail servers handle only communication between the platform and you as an account holder: login links, billing receipts, payment notices, grace period warnings, and platform announcements. We do not use our mail servers for any communication involving your visitors.
Your own SMTP credentials (optional, paid accounts) handle all communication between you and your visitors: contact form thank-you emails, year-end summary emails with your personal stats, and any other messages you send through your profile. These are dispatched through your own mail account. MySocials.Info renders the message and hands it off - we do not log the content, do not retain a copy, and do not have access to your visitors' email addresses. The sent copy lives in your own Sent folder.
This separation is intentional. We have no interest in your visitors' contact details or the content of your correspondence with them.
We use limited first-party browser storage. The exact mix depends on whether you are a visitor, an account holder, or both:
gt_visit - a first-party cookie used to avoid counting the same visitor repeatedly inside the visit cooldown window.gt_attr - a first-party cookie used to preserve referral or campaign attribution when a visit arrives with ref or utm_* parameters.site_lang - a first-party cookie storing your selected site language.We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking cookies.
We use Let's Encrypt for HTTPS certificates. No personal data is shared with Let's Encrypt beyond what is required for domain validation.
All fonts used on this site (Space Mono, Inter, Material Symbols) are self-hosted. No requests are made to Google Fonts or any other external font CDN.
We keep data only as long as it is useful for running the service, meeting basic operational needs, or honoring your plan history. In practice:
Browser storage on your own device lasts until its cookie expiry, logout, or manual clearing. Visit counting and attribution cookies are first-party only; they are not shared across unrelated sites.

If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, our legal basis for processing your personal data is contract performance - processing your email address and site content is necessary to provide the service you signed up for. IP addresses in server logs are processed under our legitimate interest in maintaining operational security.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@mysocials.info. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, and to opt out of any sale - though there is nothing to opt out of here.

MySocials.Info is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated via the platform or by email to registered users.
